-Contents of the baby's first meal ceremony set-

- Whole sea bream (grilled fish): The name is a play on words with "medetai" (auspicious) and its red and white colors make it the star of the dish.

・Red bean rice: It has the meaning of warding off evil spirits and protecting against misfortune.

・Soup: The soup is meant to strengthen the ability to "suck," and the clams symbolize a wish for a "good relationship (harmonious marriage)."

・Simmered dishes: Mountain vegetables (carrots, shiitake mushrooms, bamboo shoots, etc.) are simmered to pray for health and longevity.

・Pickles (pickles and vinegared dishes): Red and white pickled daikon radish, symbolizing longevity, and octopus (tako) in vinegar are often chosen.
